Your choice of Company name has to be unique and is subject to acceptance by Companies House, so it is worth having a few alternatives to choose from in case your first choice is taken.

If you can not get acceptance of a name that you want to use, you can still use it as a "trading name", so long as the company's officially registered name appears elsewhere on your stationery together with the company number
